Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Marquardt

Academic Advisory Board
Wolfgang Marquardt is one of the leading experts in process systems engineering worldwide. Since July 2014 he is chairman of the Board of Directors of Forschungszentrum Jülich. His research focuses on the utilisation of mathematical and computational methods in process engineering, and in particular model-based analysis and process analytics. His close links with both science and industry enable a seamless technology transfer to the end user.
SPACT benefits from Wolfgang's outstanding scientific expertise as well his vast strategic network.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Alsmeyer

Academic Advisory Board
Frank Alsmeyer was the first developer and co-inventor of Hard Modeling methods for quantitative spectra analysis. After completing his PhD, he worked with users in the industry to evaluate and refine the original software tool, laying the foundations for what is now PEAXACT. Since Spring 2010, he has been Professor of Process Systems Engineering and Plant Design at Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, where he continues working on the application of process spectroscopy and model-based experimental techniques.
Frank supports SPACT in R&D projects and by networking in the process systems engineering community.
