Dirk Engel holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Department of Process Systems Engineering (AVT.PT). Dirk is one of the key developers of the PEAXACT analysis software, as well as the underlying computational algorithms IHM and HMFA.

Simon Kern holds a degree in biochemical engineering from Hamburg University of Technology and received his PhD from Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) in Berlin (division of process analytical technology). Simon's focus is on reaction monitoring with online NMR spectroscopy.
